Your account and subscription

Premium, billing, refunds, email, username, switching accounts, and deleting your account.

Do I have to pay for Cosmos?

No. Premium is totally optional. It gives you access to premium capabilities like claiming any username, early access to features, collaboration on collections, bulk export of elements, and a customizable grid. Everyone can use Cosmos for free.

How do I manage my subscription?

It depends on where you subscribed:

  • Cosmos website: go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription to view, cancel, upgrade, or update your billing details.

  • iPhone / App Store: open your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Cosmos.

  • Google Play: open Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cosmos.

Can I get a refund?

We don't offer refunds, but you can cancel at any time to avoid future charges. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, refund requests go through Apple or Google.

How do I change my email address?

Go to Settings > Account details, then tap your email to edit and update it.

How do I change my username?

Go to Profile > Edit Profile and update your username. Handles are unique, so if the one you want is taken you'll need to pick another. Some usernames are reserved for Premium: first names, dictionary words, and any handle four characters or shorter. Claiming one of those requires a paid subscription.

Can I switch between accounts?

On web, yes. Open the menu next to your profile picture to park a signed-in account and switch between accounts without logging out. The mobile apps don't have this yet, so log out and back in to switch.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > Account details > Close account and follow the prompts. We'll email you a link to confirm, and your account is only deleted once you click it. Check your spam or junk folder if it hasn't arrived after a few minutes, and don't resubmit the request. This permanently deletes your account and all your data.

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a paid subscription — cancel it first (see above). It also doesn't unsubscribe you from our emails; use the unsubscribe link in any email or let us know and we'll remove you.
