What is a cluster?
A collection is how you organized elements on Cosmos. Think of it like a visual folder or collection. When you save an element, you can choose to keep it in all elements, or assign them to collection to curate and stay organized.
Collections allow you to:
Keep similar references together.
Build visual narratives or curated moodboards.
Collaborate with friends.
Creating Collections
Create a collection from Create > Collection on desktop or by tapping + on mobile, then choose new collection. Set visibility and adjust it anytime from the More options (•••) menu.
There are two types of collections:
Private collections are only visible to you (and any collaborators you invite).
Public collections can be viewed by anyone.
Creating subcollections
Subcollections are folders inside a collection — use them to group elements into specific themes or sections. Each subcollection has its own title and cover, and it’s visible to others only if the parent collection is public.
To create a subcollection, open a collection, tap +, then select New Subcollection.
Managing collections
You can manage a collection from your profile. Just open the collection you want to edit, then use the more options (•••) menu to edit, organize, or collaborate. You can do the following:
Edit collection: Change the title or description, update the cover photo, toggle Public or Private, or delete the collection permanently (cannot be undone).
Organize elements: Click and hold elements to rearrange. On desktop, you can hold Shift and click multiple elements to take bulk actions like connecting to another collection or deleting.
Invite Collaborators: Premium members can also invite collaborators to their collections. Collaborators can view and manage elements in a shared collection. To invite, choose Invite Collaborators from the ••• menu.
How to export a collection (Premium)
Export a collection to download its contents to your computer. This is only available to Premium subscribers.
To export a collection:
Open the collection and open More options (•••).
Select Export collection.
Cosmos will generate a .zip file containing all images in the collection and download it to your device.
Note: The export includes images only. Text and links are not included in the exported collections at this time.
